Welcome to the Gardens of Tieve Tara

GARDEN UPDATE

We promised to keep you informed about when we could welcome our lovely visitors back into the Gardens of Tieve Tara. Sadly it is very unlikely that we can open this Spring. The safety of our visitors is paramount and we do not have the staff capacity to ensure Covid Safety for all. We realise this will be disappointing to many of you, but unfortunately we are not set up in a way to make it viable to open safely. We will be bringing you regular ‘sights and sounds’ from the garden over Spring, which we hope will help lift your spirits and allow you to imagine you are actually in the gardens! We sincerely hope that Autumn ’21 sees the world in a much safer place and that we can  invite you all back with open arms. Thank you for your understanding, from all of us at the Gardens of Tieve Tara.

Nestled on the eucalypt clad slopes of Mt Macedon is a truly remarkable oasis of beauty.

The Gardens of Tieve Tara undulate across 7.5 acres of sweeping lawns, lakes & trees, with vibrant seasonal colours.

It has been called “The Jewel of The Mountain” “A Little Piece of Heaven” “Paradise” “Magical” “Relaxing” “Tranquil”…It is all this & more, we call it “HOME” and never take the BEAUTY of Mount Macedon for granted.
