Spring

In Spring, the garden awakens with a fantastic display of colours and the flowering cherries blossom next to the roses and the growing bulbs. Thousands of perennials begin to bloom and the garden shows its natural beauty.

Spring is a great time of the year at Tieve Tara, as the fantastic range of colours delight the eye and refresh the soul. So come up to Tieve Tara in Spring, take a walk up the perennial path, around the lakes, through the fern glade and relax whilst watching Spring at Tieve Tara.

Autumn

Now that Autumn has begun we will be blessed with Mother Natures amazing changes. The leaves on our trees will turn from various shades of green, to rich reds, oranges and yellows. Indeed a wonderful sight to behold.

Many of the huge trees at Tieve Tara are more than 100 years old, so you might be able to image the wonderful show of colour that forms on their branches and then fall to cover the ground beneath.

So colour, colour everywhere. The sound of children’s laughter as they crunch the crispy leaves underfoot and throw them into the air, sometime lying on the ground, and covering each other up, is quite delightful.

I say “Hurrah for the sounds of childhood”!
